Pete and Mel Harthoorn: August 2009

Mel went on a two-day hike to Twin Lakes with Sharon and Julia, in Waterton Park. We had a fun time, saw some beautiful scenery and incredible views, got ourselves into a bit of a hairy situation (which required some extra hiking...about 5 hours worth) and developed some nice blisters; overall a great experience!

We had fun playing softball this year. This picture was taken after our last playoff game.

Ridge Resevoir

The weather wasn't great and forced us to retreat home a little earlier than intended, but otherwise it was a nice time spent camping with family. Simone especially enjoyed hanging out with her Auntie Nikki and her cousin, Dylan.
